Bessie Williams (nee Gallimore),100, of Vineland, NJ passed away quietly at home on Tuesday morning where she had been under the care of friends and hospice. Mrs. Williams was born in Lancashire, England and was a longtime resident of Buena prior to moving to Spring Oaks in Vineland in 2002. She was the wife of the late Jack Williams.
Bessie was a longtime active member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Vineland. She was also a member and Past Matron Ocean City Chapter #83 Order of Eastern Star. She also served as a Past Grand Officer of Order of Eastern Star of N.J. In her earlier years she was employed by the May Bess Hosiery Co. in Folsom, NJ and later she along with her late husband operated a Laundromat.
She is survived by her Care Givers – Sonia Wilson & Marjorie Astheimer

An Order of Eastern Star Service will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday 2/1/10 followed by her funeral service in the First United Methodist Church of Vineland, 7th & Landis Avenue, Vld., NJ where friends will be received from 9:30-11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the 1st U.M. Church of Vld., 700 E.
