On Thursday morning February 4, 2010 the Lord’s Angels came and took Pete Plummer home to the Lord. Pete was born on Sept 24, 1946 in Millville where he was raised before moving to Vineland where he was a longtime city resident. He was the son of the late Catherine (Hall) & John C. Plummer, Sr. he was also pre deceased by his brother Tom.
Before his health failed Pete was the Co-Owner Operator of the family run C.J. Dorington Commercial Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. He was a member of the Refrigeration Service Engineering Society & the St. Isidore’s R.C. Church. Pete was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was an avid enduro motorcycle rider and a member of the S.J. Scramblers enduro club. Pete’s passion was his family, friends and fishing. Some of his happiest times were spent at the Jersey Shore with his family, friends and fishing buddies. He enjoyed fly tying and making fishing lures for his friends. Pete loved spending time with his grandchildren as well as his time gardening or working in his wood shop. No matter of the physical pain he was suffering, he never lost his sense of humor, generosity or caring way. He will be greatly missed by all who new and loved him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 yrs.: Carole (Lera)

Son & daughter in law: Ty L. Plummer & wife Stephanie
Four adoring Grandchildren: Kaydee & Matthew Anderson, Alexis Lynn & Tyler John Plummer.

Sister: Irene Loper & Fiancée Bill Hawn
Sister in law: Sandy & husband George Luciano, Jr.
Cousin Al Tubertini who was like a brother to Pete
Numerous nieces & nephews as well as his many fishing buddies.
His funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday in the St. Isidore’s R.C. Church, 1655 Magnolia Rd., Vineland, NJ with entombment to follow in the Sacred Heart Garden Mausoleum. Relatives & friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6:00-9:00 PM and again on Friday from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ.
