Elizabeth Grubbs, age 94, of Millville, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2010 at the South Jersey Extended Care Nursing Home in Bridgeton. She was born in Gloucester City, NJ and resided in Millville for over 20 years before going into the nursing home. She was a homemaker and loved spending time at her home in Avalon Manor. She was formerly employed by Foster’s Laundry in Gloucester. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Elizabeth Spence Johnson; the wife of the late John Grubbs, Sr.; the mother of the late John Grubbs, Jr; and the aunt of the late Darla Lombardo. She is survived by her, Nephews, Jerry Lynch (Patricia), Jack Lynch (Carol), Harry Johnson (Terry), Joe McVeigh (Jeri), Bill McVeigh (Esther), Barry McVeigh (Claire), Robert Grubbs (Daurice), Ed Lombardol Niece, Doris Jurczykowski (Chet)Daughter In Law, Marion Grubbs, Grandchildren, Edison Williams (Sue), David Williams (Mary Ann), Terrilyn Rogers (Kenneth). Her Memorial service will be conducted 10:30 AM, Wednesday February 17, 2010 in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ where relatives & friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
