VIOLET M. BOWSER “DOLLY” 95, of Collings Lakes died suddenly Friday at her home. Born in Portage, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Blanche Ashbaugh Davinson and the wife of the late George J. Bowser. She lived in Pennsylvania until 1954 at which time the family moved to N.J. She has lived in Collings Lakes since 1958. Dolly was a homemaker and worked for Two Guys for approximately 10 years after her husband’s death. She attended Faith Bible Church, enjoyed reading, and studying the Bible. Dolly’s family was very important to her and enjoyed being with them.
Surviving are her daughter, Betty Donley and her husband Richard, Daughters in law,Dorothy Bowser and Mary Bowser Monteleone, grandchildren, George W. Bowser, Jr. and his wife Tracy, Debra Bowser, James R. Bowser, Jr. and his wife Suzanne, Cheryl Edelmann and her husband Craig, Melissa Salamy and her husband Ray, great grandchildren, Matt Bowser, Tony Bowser, Amanda Bowser, Shawn Mulholland, Allison McCray, Timothy Bowser, Victoria Bowser, Paul Sansalone, Jr., Elizabeth Edelman, 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sons, George W. Bowser, Sr. and James Robert Bowser, Sr..
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday February 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Pancoast Funeral Home 676 S. Main Rd. Vineland. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery.
