Edward L. “Eddie” Gabardi, 79, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Sunday morning in the SJH Reg. Med. Ctr., Vineland, NJ after an extended illness. Eddie was born and raised in Vineland where he was a lifelong city resident. He was the son of the late Angeline (Gius) & Stephan Gabardi and the son in law of the late Ruth & James Barrett.
After high school, Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a forward observer. He retired from ROC Lubes as a distributor for Shell Oil. He enjoyed all types of remodeling projects. He was an avid bowler and had bowled in many leagues over the years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 yrs.: Judy “Babe” (nee Barrett)
1 son & daughter in law: Donald Gabardi & wife Judy
1 daughter: Lori Guessford
4 Grandchildren: Shannon & Nicky Gabardi, Casey & Kalia Guessford
1 Great Granddaughter: Jada Guessford
Sister in law: Carol (Barrett) Fellows
As well as several cousins, nieces & nephews.
His funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ where relatives & friends will be received from 9:30-11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
