Jeannette G. Souders (nee Hooven) 84, of South Vineland, NJ passed away on Monday morning in the Cumberland Manor, Hopewell Twp., NJ. Jeannette was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in S. Vineland since 1939. She was the daughter of the late George W. & Margaret (Gunkel) Hooven and the wife of the late Donald R. Souders, Sr. who died in 1990.
Jean was a retired clothing worker and had retired from the K & H Clothing Co in Millville. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, American Legion Aux, the S. Vineland Fire Co. Ladies Aux. and the Trinity Episcopal Church, Vineland.
She is survived by 2 sons: Donald R. Souders, Jr & Edward Souders
1 daughter: Jeannette Green
Several Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren
Her sister: Margaret Walters
Stepsister: Veronica Tayvinsky
Stepbrother: Hugh White
Her funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. on Friday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ where relatives & friends will be received from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, NJ
