Elsie M. Kraemer, age 77, of Mays Landing, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Mainland Manor after a five year courageous battle with cancer. Born in Evesham Twp., NJ, she was a resident of Mays Landing for the last 13 years. Elsie began her employment history as a seamstress. She and her sister Eleanor later owned and operated the EL and EL News store in Landisville. Elsie had been a coin cashier at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City, and then retired as a Home Health Aide serving in the Gloucester County area. Elsie was a devoted member of the Milmay Christian Church & was active with the Mays Landing Senior Citizens Center. Elsie enjoyed dining out, playing Bingo, and going to flea markets. She loved to travel, especially to NY to visit her grand-nephew Gabriel Manak. Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband Samuel E. Kraemer, her parents Ida V. (Massey) and Frank Consalo, Sr., her sister, Lena Labriola, & a dear brother-in-law, Joe Ardito. She is survived by her siblings, Ida Ardito,
Frank Consalo, Jr. (Ruth), Eleanor Mercoli with whom she resided, Maurice Consalo (Marge), and Ronald Consalo(Lynda); a special niece Sandy Jacobs, and many other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, & grand-nephews whom she loved and adored. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Milmay Christian Church, 1022 Tuckahoe Rd., Milmay, NJ 08340. Interment will be private in the Woodbury Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milmay Christian Church. Arrangements are by the Pancoast Funeral Home of Vineland.
