Marie E. Smith (nee Tobin), 75, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Sunday morning in the Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland, NJ. Marie was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Landisville, NJ. She later moved with her family to Windsor, N.Y. for several years before returning to Landisville. Marie was pre deceased by her husband Charles in 1982 and two brothers, Evans & John Tobin.
Before retiring, Marie was employed as a cafeteria aide for the Buena Regional School District. She had also worked for many years as the church sexton for the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Vineland. But her favorite work was being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. Marie also enjoyed cross stitch, embroidery and gardening.
She is survived by 4 sons: Greg & Debra Smith, PA

Tim & Jennifer Smith, Vld.
Mike & Stephanie Smith, Franklinville
8 Grandchildren: Melissa, Catherine, Morgan, Garrett, Logan, Allie, Evan, Olivia & 1 great grandson: Brandon

1 Brother: Thomas & Barbara Tobin. LA
1 sister-in-law: Dorothy Fabbri
Relatives & friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ and again on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:00 AM. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM on Thursday with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery.
