Robert M Dillon, 52, of Vineland, NJ passed away at home on Saturday morning. Mr. Dillon was born in Atlantic City, raised in the Absecon/Pomona area and had resided in Vineland for the past 27 yrs. He was the son of the late Robert J. Dillon.
Before Bob’s health failed, he was employed as an electrician with the I.B.E.W. Union Local #351. He was a veteran and served as a Sgt in the U.S. Marine Corps, Bob was also longtime member of the Minotola Fire Co. Sta. 11-2. When his sons were younger he enjoyed coaching baseball & soccer and also enjoyed canoeing.
He is survived by his wife of 28 yrs.: Tina (Lafferty)

2 sisters: Leslie Potenski & Amy Dillon
Father & mother in law, Jim & Louise Lafferty
As well as several nieces & nephews
Relatives & Friends will be received for a memorial gathering on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 PM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
