William Joseph Chester “Billy” 62 of Newfield passed away at home after an extended illness. Born in Vineland NJ, he was the son of William C. Chester and the late Lucy (Raffaelli) Chester. Graduate of Delsea Region High School Billy Served in the Army From 1966-1968 while in Vietnam he received 3 purple hearts. Billy Owned and Operated William Chester Trucking Inc., William Chester Truck Brokerage, WJC Group LLC., and Chester Racing Inc. He also hauled Produce for many years for Bassetti Produce and J& D Produce
Billy Loved his Family, Dirt Stock Car Racing and Trucking.
He is survived by his wife Laura Chester (Hartman)

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 26th at 11:00 am at Pancoast Funeral Home 676 So Main Rd. Vineland NJ. Relatives & Friends will be received Friday 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 am at Pancoast Funeral Home.
For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Redeemer Hospice or the American Diabetes Assoc.
