James P Castellano, 84, of Vineland, NJ, passed away on Monday morning in the SJH Reg. Med. Ctr., Vineland, NJ after an extended illness. Born in Staten Island, NY, on August 31, 1925, he was raised in Staten Island where he was a longtime resident prior to moving to Vineland in 1985. Jim was a Machinist for Proctor & Gamble in Staten Island & retired after 38 years of service. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, and enjoyed attending his military reunions. Jim relished staying physically fit, and enjoyed fishing & bike riding. He was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church and also frequently attended Redeemer Lutheran Chruch.
Father of the late Mary Ann Castellano & Rose Mary Casella; he is survived by:

2 Children, James Castellano & his wife Patricia of NC, &
Loretta Coen & her husband Steven of Vineland;
Son in law, Stephen Casella, DE
A brother, Samuel Castellano of Staten Is., NY
1 grandchild, William Donahue; & 2 Step grandchildren, Rick Dennis & Kenna Lewis
Five Great Step grandchildren
As well as several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ, on Friday eveing 7/16 from 6 to 8 p.m. & again on Saturday morning from 11:00 to 12 Noon with funeral services to begin at 12 Noon. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland, NJ
